Broadstairs Food Festival is an outdoor event, taking place whatever the British weather decides to do. We will therefore be open throughout all usual weather conditions, which will include inclement weather. We remind all customers to dress appropriately for the weather.
In the unlikely event that weather conditions pose a risk to health and safety, that day, or part of, could be cancelled. An announcement would be made through our social media platforms and our website. We advise customers to check our website/social media channels for the latest updates before they travel, particularly in the event of forecasted inclement weather.
In the event that you get separated from your child or a vulnerable adult within your party at the event, please notify one of our volunteers immediately or seek assistance from our Information Point.
If you have left anything behind/lost some whilst visiting Broadstairs Food Festival please email our team on Info@broadstairsfoodfestival.org.uk with full details of the date and venue that you attended and we will do our best to help you. If you realise that you have lost something whilst you are there, please enquire at our Information Point and they will assist you further.
The safety and security of our visitors, exhibitors and colleagues is our number one priority. Please co-operate with our volunteers. They are there to help you. Should you have any concerns about anything at the event, please report it to your nearest available volunteer who will endeavour to help.

Once you have booked, you will receive an automated email, confirming the details of your festival marquee tickets. Remember to check your email junk/spam folder for this.
Please ensure that you arrive with your Order/Booking Number readily available. You do not need to print or show your email confirmation on arrival – we will be able to admit you using your Order/Booking Number and the full name of the lead booking person.
If you have booked multiple tickets, and members of your party will be arriving separately, we will be able to check-in your party, in separate smaller groups, provided all smaller groups have the lead booking name or booking number available to give in at the entrance.
Yes, we are very happy for essential carers to attend our chargeable events for free, to accompany one paying child/ adult who are in receipt of the required benefit. If you require a Carer ticket, please add a FREE carer ticket to your order when you purchase your festival marquee tickets.
Should it be necessary to cancel a festival marquee event, for whatever reason, the decision to cancel would be made as early as possible.
All customers with pre-booked festival marquee tickets, would be able to transfer their tickets to another event (of the same value) or receive a full refund.
Refund where the event is not cancelled is at the discretion of the organisers.
