Broadstairs Food Festival is a celebration of brilliant food, drink and the people behind it. Twice a year, over Easter and again in autumn, we bring together an exciting mix of independent producers from Kent, the wider region and beyond.
The festival is only part of the experience. We encourage visitors to explore Broadstairs and discover the town’s wonderful independent shops, restaurants and pubs, as well as its sandy beaches and beautiful coastline.
Founded in 2008, the festival is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company run by a dedicated team of volunteers. Our mission is simple: to champion small food and drink businesses and create a welcoming, inclusive event for everyone.
Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, producers, visitors and volunteers, the festival continues to bring people together year after year, and we’re proud to keep entry completely free.
Broadstairs Food Festival takes place twice a year, with an Easter Festival in spring and an Autumn Festival in October. Both events bring together fantastic food and drink, live entertainment and inspiring Kitchen Theatre demonstrations, offering plenty for every food lover to discover and enjoy..
