Broadstairs Food Festival has always been proud to showcase the fantastic food and drink produced across Kent. This autumn, we’re creating new opportunities for small businesses, recently launched brands and complete start-ups to experience trading at one of the county’s best-loved food festivals.
Our new one-day pitches are designed to make taking part more accessible for businesses that may not yet be ready to commit to a full three-day event. Applicants might already be selling online, attending markets or smaller events, developing a new product, or simply looking for the right opportunity to test an idea with a wider audience.
Festival trading offers businesses the chance to meet customers face-to-face, receive valuable feedback and discover how their products perform in a busy environment. For visitors, it means even more variety and the opportunity to find exciting new flavours, products and local businesses at the beginning of their journey.
We hope these spaces will give talented food and drink producers the confidence and experience to take their next step, and perhaps become regular faces at future Broadstairs Food Festivals.
We’ll also be introducing our new Buskers’ Point this year, creating a dedicated space for local performers and adding even more live music and atmosphere to the festival weekend. We’ll be sharing more about this very soon.
