Old banners – new bags!

Yes the BFF volunteers have been at it again, busy upcycling old banners to create unique bags !

We are upcycling our old food festival vinyl banners and mesh flags, cutting and sewing to create one off tote bags. Each of these large shopping bags are distinctive and durable: great for shopping or wet beach towels. Every one is different and, by upcycling,  it doesn’t come any greener than this – even though actually black and white.

If you want to come along and choose your favourite design, they are available at the Easter 2025 food festival and can be purchased for £4, £8 & £12 from the Information desk at the entrance.

Remember these will be the collector items of the future, and next time you will see them, they will be on the catwalks of Milan, Paris or New York.
